In person Kobido trainings in Glasgow

Want to train in Kobido face lifting massage with me?

Face therapy is subtle work, but it creates deep change.
If you’re drawn to face therapy, it’s probably because you can feel that it offers more than just physical results. You’re right - it does. It supports the nervous system, emotional regulation, sleep, lymphatic flow, and a deeper sense of connection to the self. People often feel better not just in their face, but in their whole being.

I’ve been practicing manual therapy for over 8 years, with the last 3 years dedicated fully to face therapy. I’ve trained with some of the best teachers in Poland and spent hundreds of hours working hands-on with clients. What I teach is rooted in lived experience - not just theory.
My approach has been shaped through real sessions, with real people, over time.

Through intimate, hands-on trainings, held in small groups with a personalised approach, these trainings are designed to build confidence, skill and sensitivity supporting others on their path of practice and care.

Who will you train with?

With a background in holistic therapies and a deep respect for traditional techniques, I teach Kobido as both an art and a practice of care. My approach blends precision with presence, creating a gentle, supportive space for learning. At LEK’KO, I guide students not just in mastering technique, but in developing the sensitivity, confidence, and intuition needed to offer meaningful, heart-led treatments.

My style of teaching is informal, grounded, and personal. I keep group sizes small so I can support you directly because face therapy requires precision, subtlety, and presence. It’s not something you can rush.

If you’re looking to deepen your practice with a gentle, powerful modality, one that invites presence, care, and growth.
I’d love to share this work with you.

MARTA SULKOWSKA

  • “I recently completed the Japanese Face Lifting Massage course with Marta at Lek’ko, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The course was incredibly in-depth, and I appreciated the ample time we had to practice the practical skills. Marta is exceptionally knowledgeable and was always supportive, answering every question I had with patience and clarity. The studio was beautiful, creating a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Even though the training days were intense, there were plenty of opportunities to take breaks, refuel, and rest, which made the experience much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this course for anyone interested in exploring this gorgeous ritual!”

  • I recently took part in Marta’s training course for Japanese Face Lifting Massage and it has completely evolved my practice as a massage therapist. Her knowledge and passion for manual therapy and wellness is at the forefront of her teaching, providing in depth insight to her style of work. I feel more confident in regards to providing a holistic client experience whilst having also improved my knowledge of facial anatomy.

  • Kobido is a traditional Japanese facial massage known for its lifting, sculpting, and rejuvenating effects. This treatment combines rhythmic techniques, deep tissue work, and gentle stimulation of acupressure points to improve circulation, release facial tension, and support lymphatic flow. Often described as a natural face-lift, Kobido enhances skin tone, softens fine lines, and leaves the face visibly brighter and more relaxed.

    • Practical anatomy, how to understand and feel the structures you’re working with

    • Trauma-informed practice, how to respond when emotions arise and how to hold space

    • Real-world insight, case studies, troubleshooting, and the kind of nuance that only comes from experience

    • Subtle skills, how to sense, adjust, and treat with precision and presence.

  • My groups are kept small so I can support you closely. You’ll get direct feedback and hands-on guidance. This kind of work requires attention to detail, stillness, and real presence it’s not something you can rush through.

Training will take place at the Lekko studio in Glasgow.
